7. Factual approach to decision making
8. Mutually beneficial supplier relationships

ISO 9001 are:
- Chance to review the Quality System
- Chance to simplify the documentation
- Chance to involve all personnel in quality issues
- Chance to be more customer focused
- The standard dictates the setting of quality objectives and
targets
- The standard provides the possibility of integrating the
quality system with other management systems such as
environmental or H&S
Implementation Issues
- Obtain support from top management
- Carry out a gap analysis
- Define the business and support processes
- Define a plan for implementation
- Define and set up a project team with with key personnel to
develop the new methods and techniques
- Obtain advice and guidance from your Certification Body
- Document the Quality Manual, business processes and support
processes
- Involve all personnel
